Some people vacation along 30A and dream of one day calling it home. Smith Burke made that dream a reality. After years of visiting the Emerald Coast with his wife, an area native, he traded the fast pace of Washington, D.C., for the laid-back luxury of 30A in 2016. With a background in sales, relationship management, and a deep appreciation for architecture and design, Smith found his calling in real estate, where he seamlessly connects buyers with the perfect home and helps sellers maximize their investments.
 
A Richmond, Virginia, native, Smith attended St. Christopher’s School before earning a degree in business administration from the College of Charleston. He later completed a master’s program at Georgetown University while working in Washington, D.C., refining his expertise in negotiation, communication and client service. These skills, his local market knowledge and his additional education as a broker associate allow him to navigate even the most complex transactions with confidence and ease. Whether it’s uncovering an off-market gem, advising on vacation rental potential or ensuring a seamless closing, Smith approaches every deal with precision, strategy and an unwavering commitment to his clients.
 
Smith’s business is built on relationships — both with clients and the network of agents, builders and inspectors who help make transactions smooth and stress-free. Beyond real estate, Smith and his wife, Kristen, are deeply rooted in the community. Their three children keep them busy with youth sports, and weekends often find them at the beach, on the boat or enjoying the outdoors. A devoted family man and an admittedly unlucky fisherman, Smith values the balance of hard work and coastal living a lifestyle he loves helping others discover for themselves.
